Lift Mechanic

Ski Santa Fe – Santa Fe, NM

Ski Santa Fe is seeking an experienced Lift Mechanic to join our Mountain Operations team. This is a year-round, full-time role responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable operation of all lift systems at our resort. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, a safety-first mindset, and hands-on experience working with ski lifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair chairlifts and conveyors in accordance with ANSI B77
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal lift inspections and maintenance
• Respond to lift malfunctions and operational issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records
• Support daily lift operations with a strong focus on guest and employee safety

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of lift maintenance or related mechanical experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude, including hydraulics, braking systems, gearboxes, drives and rigging
• Knowledge of lift safety standards and procedures
• Ability to work at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Minimum introductory rigging experience
• Strong understanding of safe work practices and ANSI B77 requirements
