Join the Solitude Ski Patrol leadership team in Utah’s Big Cottonwood Canyon, operating in expert avalanche terrain and the dynamic Wasatch snowpack conditions that make Utah snow legendary worldwide. This full-time, year-round position plays a critical role in overseeing daily ski patrol and bike patrol operations, emergency response readiness, avalanche mitigation support, training coordination, staffing, mountain safety initiatives, and strategic operational leadership across all seasons. Our Patrol Manager helps lead up to 45 winter patrollers and approximately 20 summer bike patrol employees while fostering a professional, accountable, safety-focused, and guest-service-oriented culture in alignment with our core values.

We are looking for highly experienced patrol leader who communicates well, remains calm under pressure, skis at an expert level, and enjoys developing people, systems, and operational excellence. Experience in patrol supervision, avalanche mitigation, emergency response, mountain operations, training, and risk management is strongly preferred.

The position works closely with the Director of Patrol and Avalanche Mitigation Manager and combines field leadership, operational coordination, and administrative responsibilities across year-round mountain operations.
