Reporting to the Director of Tram Operations & Facilities, this role is perfect for a seasoned maintenance professional who excels in both hands-on technical work and leading high-performing teams. You’ll oversee all aspects of tramway maintenance operations, ensuring systems run smoothly while guiding staff, managing priorities, and maintaining strict compliance with safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily maintenance operations to keep tram systems safe and fully operational

• Lead, schedule, and mentor maintenance staff while coordinating contractor work

• Develop and manage preventative maintenance plans across all tramway systems

• Continuously assess operating conditions and make critical safety decisions

• Support emergency response efforts, including evacuations and system recovery

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in tramway, ski lift, or similar mechanical systems

• Proven leadership experience in maintenance or operations settings

• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems

• Familiarity with ANSI codes, safety protocols, and operational standards

• Ability to lead confidently in fast-paced, safety-critical environments
