Mikulas is a Montana native who earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana, “so the mountains and tight-knit communities here are a big part of who I am,” she said. “I’ve always felt a strong connection to the outdoors and to the people who make these places special. At Red Lodge Mountain, I see an incredible opportunity to honor its authentic, down-to-earth vibe while enhancing the guest experience and building a strong, engaged team.”

Mikulas most recently served as regional director of operations for Vail Resorts in Summit County, Colo., overseeing more than 40 retail and rental operations across Breckenridge, Keystone, Silverthorne, Frisco, and Crested Butte. Her career also includes senior leadership roles at Powdr, Intouch Technology Group, and Intrawest.

“[Mikulas’] deep industry knowledge, Montana roots, and passion for the outdoors make her an ideal fit for our mountain and the Red Lodge community,” said Spencer Weimar, asset manager at JMA Ventures, which owns Red Lodge Mountain. “We’re excited about the future with her as part of the team.”

Mikulas has also served on numerous industry and community boards, including High Country Conservation and the Copper Mountain Resort Association.
