Suhadolc moves to general manager of Mount Snow from his current position as vice president of mountain operations at Vail Mountain, Colo. He succeeds former Mount Snow GM Tracy Bartels, who was recently appointed vice president of maintenance, planning, and projects for Vail Resorts’ mountain division.

Suhadolc is a 30-year industry veteran. He joined the Vail Mountain team in 2020. Prior to that, he spent over 28 years at Park City Mountain Resort, Utah, in multiple leadership positions, and played a critical role in connecting PCMR with Canyons Resort.

Ted McDowell will transition in April from director of food and beverage at Heavenly Mountain Resort, Calif., to general manager of Roundtop. McDowell succeeds Brett Cook, who was appointed general manager of Seven Springs, Hidden Valley, and Laurel Mountain, Pa., in February.

McDowell has held leadership positions at both Northstar California and Heavenly for the last 23 years. After growing up near Roundtop, he moved to the Lake Tahoe region to study ski business management at Sierra Nevada College.

Successors for Suhadolc's and McDowell’s vacated positions have not yet been determined.
