The 2,000-acre Aspen Meadows will introduce a third base area for the ski area, which will include a village center and lodge. It will add more than 850 acres of skiable terrain—more than doubling the resort’s current 650 skiable acres. Up to seven fixed and high-speed detachable lifts are also planned. Maps of the project show a two-stage gondola that links Brian Head to Aspen Meadows.

New hiking and mountain biking trails are included in the plans as well.

In addition, a variety of lodging and residences are to be built, including gated neighborhoods comprised of custom luxury mountain homes, other private homesites, mountain cottages, townhomes, condominiums, hotels, inns, planned unit developments, and ranches, according to the Aspen Meadows website.

Development and construction of the Aspen Meadows master plan are currently in process for its initial road network, well, and utility infrastructure, and its first two ski-in, ski-out neighborhoods—the Southeast neighborhood and Christmas Tree neighborhood. The overall development is described as a “muti-decade” project.
