SAM Magazine—Denver, Colo., April 13, 2023—Alyeska Resort, located 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska, has joined the Ikon Pass for the 2023-24 season. Ikon Pass.HNThe Ikon Pass offers access to 56 ski resorts in the U.S and internationally.

“We are thrilled to expand into Alaska and invite the Ikon Pass community to discover Alyeska Resort,” said Erik Forsell, chief marketing officer for Alterra Mountain Company, the Denver-based parent company of the Ikon Pass. “Alyeska is truly an iconic destination with its storied terrain, stunning views, scenic tram and adventurous atmosphere.”

Ikon Pass holders will have access to seven days at Alyeska with no blackout dates, and Ikon Base Pass holders will have access to five days with select blackout dates for the upcoming season. Alyeska Resort is also available on the Ikon Session Pass.

Alyeska has seven lifts, serving 1,610 skiable acres and 76 named runs, and receives 650” of annual snowfall.
