Peak, Boyne Resorts Roll Out Multi Area Pass Options

SAM Magazine—West Dover, Vt., March 7, 2019—’Tis the season for season pass sales for 2019-20, and the offers and deals are piling up. Among the latest multi-area companies to unveil their mostly East-facing offers are Peak Resorts and Boyne Resorts. PeakPass

Peak Resorts' Peak Pass, valid at 10+ Eastern, mid-Atlantic, and Midwestern areas, will return for 2019-20, with six options. Prices are unchanged for the third year in a row. Options include the unlimited Explorer Pass ($629/$399 for adults/youth 7-17) and Drifter Pass, for ages 18-29 (also $399). The Ranger pass, with 11 blackout dates, is $529. Prices valid through April 30, with $99 down. All passes are valid for the rest of 2018-19 and all of 2019-20.

Peak's areas, from Hunter Mountain, N.Y., and Mount Snow, Vt., to Liberty and Jack Frost/Big Boulder, Pa., and Boston Mills Brandywine, Ohio, are within easy reach of some of the country’s largest metropolitan areas, including Boston, New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Cleveland.

Boyne Resorts' New England Pass also includes the remainder of the current season and all of the next. Depending on benefits and certain blackout dates, prices range from $739 to $1,399. Benefits on the most expensive, unlimited Gold and Gold Plus options include 50-percent discounts at Boyne's Western resorts, dining and retail discounts, and discounts on Friends tickets.

Other options: A midweek Bronze pass with holiday blackouts is $499. For those under age 30, there's the Nitro New England Pass ($349) with 12 blackout dates. Two levels of the College New England Pass are also available, with or without blackout dates, for $269 and $369, respectively.

Prices for the various New England Passes are valid only during this week's "flash sale."

It's worth noting that the Boyne areas are also available on various Ikon Pass options as partner resorts, with up to seven days at each resort.
