SAM Magazine—Huntsville, Utah, Nov. 5, 2025—Powder Mountain has appointed Brandi Hammon as president, overseeing all resort operations, real estate, and hospitality.
Hammon, an Ogden Valley native, previously served as the resort’s chief revenue officer and has been involved with Powder Mountain’s growth and development since its transition under new ownership in 2023.
Before joining Powder Mountain, Hammon founded and led Mountain Luxury Real Estate and Lodging, where she managed more than $1 billion in real estate sales and developed expertise in construction and hospitality in the Ogden Valley region.
In her new role, Hammon will work closely with Powder CEO Reed Hastings to guide the resort’s long-term vision for sustainable growth, community partnership, and its public-private business model.
“We’re planning how to make this resort work for 100 years,” Hammon told Utah Business, emphasizing Powder Mountain’s commitment to long-term stewardship and continued public access to the resort.
The appointment comes as Powder Mountain continues to refine its development strategy, including real estate projects and resort improvements ahead of the 2025–26 winter season.
