SAM Magazine—Denver, Aug. 27, 2025—Ikon Pass holders will gain access to Valle d’Aosta’s five ski areas for winter 2025-26, including Courmayeur Mont Blanc, Cervino Ski Paradise, La Thuile Espace San Bernardo, Monterosa Ski, and Pila.IkonPass

“Endless joy abounds when exploring the special mountain culture of the Alps, and Valle d’Aosta serves it up among five distinct mountains,” said Alterra Mountain Company chief marketing officer Erik Forsell. “We are excited to expand Ikon Pass access in Europe by offering even more Italy for winter 25-26.”

Valle d’Aosta is the second Italian destination on Ikon Pass, joining Dolomiti Superski, which was added in 2021. From Valle d’Aosta, Ikon Pass holders will also have options to cross borders, with direct access from Cervino Ski Paradise to Swiss Ikon destination Zermatt Matterhorn, and from Courmayeur to French Ikon partner Chamonix through the Mont Blanc tunnel.

Ikon Pass holders will receive seven combined days at the five Valle d’Aosta resorts with no blackout dates, while Ikon Base Pass holders will get five combined days. Valle d’Aosta access is not included on the Ikon Session Pass.

“We are proud and excited to join the Ikon Pass community,” said Danilo Chatrian, general director of Courmayeur Mont Blanc Funivie and project representative for Valle d’Aosta. “This partnership opens the door to U.S. skiers and riders, offering the opportunity to discover the breathtaking scenery and exceptional winter experiences that make Valle d’Aosta a true hidden gem of the Alps.”

Ikon Pass now offers access to 63 destinations across five continents and 11 countries.
