SAM Magazine—Granby, Colo., Feb. 25, 2026—Indy Pass has added 16 new alpine and cross-country ski area partners and will open 2026-27 pass sales Feb. 25 to existing pass holders under a new automatic renewal structure the company said is designed to manage demand.
Current pass holders can renew at the lowest guaranteed price by opting into an auto-renewal program. Under the new system, passes will automatically renew each year at renewal pricing. Current pass holders that opt out of automatically renewing will forfeit renewal pricing for the following season and “their spot will be immediately offered to members on the waitlist,” according to the company.
After the renewal window, Indy will invite waitlist members to purchase passes on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. A public sale is scheduled for March 1, dependent on remaining inventory.
“We must continue to grow our passholder base thoughtfully while respecting capacity limits and preserving the uncrowded atmosphere our partner resorts are known for,” said Indy Pass director Erik Mogensen. “Our goal with this process is to make sure we can get as many people off the waitlist as soon as possible.”
Indy also reduced the price of its Indy+ Pass, which includes zero blackout dates, to $399 from $419. The Indy Add-On Pass, which is for people who have an unlimited season pass at an Indy Pass partner ski area, remains $269 for adults and $169 for children.
The company will offer renewal pass pricing to 2025-26 Learn to Turn pass holders during the renewal window starting March 25 “in an effort to convert these first timers into lifelong skiers,” it says.
Indy also made a “300 resort guarantee,” offering refunds before Dec. 1, 2026, if the partner total does not reach 300 by Nov. 1, 2026, or if a pass holder’s favorite 2025-26 resort does not renew—an echo of the 2025-26 season 250 resort guarantee.
The pass currently has more than 270 partners. New alpine resorts for 2026-27 include Les 7 Laux and Valmorel, France; Levi, Finland; Stranda Ski Resort, Norway; Stöten i Sälen, Sweden; Bergbahnen Hohsaas AG, Switzerland; Murray Ski Ridge, British Columbia.; Pebble Creek, Idaho; and Thrill Hills, N.D. Seven new cross-country ski area partners are Steamboat Ski Touring Center and Haymaker Nordic Center, Colo.; Bethel Village Trails, Franconia Inn & Outdoor Center, and Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center, N.H.; Northern Maine Community Trails, Maine; and The Loppet, Minn.
Indy said it expects to announce additional resort partners ahead of the 2026-27 season.
