SAM Magazine—Granby, Colo., Sept. 11, 2025—Indy Pass has partnered with the independent ski and snowboard retailers association Winter Sports Retailers (WSR) to provide discounts on gear and tune-ups for Indy Pass holders at participating shops.
WSR comprises more than 200 independent ski shops across the U.S., and many are expected to join the program for 2025-26, according to Indy Pass.
“This partnership is a win for small businesses, everyday skiers and riders, and the Indy movement,” said Indy Pass CEO Erik Mogensen.
Indy Pass holders will receive 15 percent off regularly priced equipment and apparel, and 20 percent off ski and board tune-ups at participating retailers. Pass holders must show their pass at checkout to receive the discount.
“Independent ski shops compete with corporate groups and big box retailers, and we welcome this alliance with the only pass that represents like-minded ski areas,” said WSR board member Stefan Hausberger.
A list of participating retailers will be available on the Indy Pass website starting Oct. 1.
The 2025-26 Indy Pass went back on sale for $449 (adult, base pass) Aug. 28 after capping sales in spring. The company said it plans to announce a list of further additions to the resort partnership coalition and a final sale date in the near term.
In August, Indy Pass confirmed 43 new resort partners as well as the initial roster of resorts participating in its new Learn-to-Turn product, a $189 pass that includes three days of lift tickets, lessons, and rentals.
