SAM Magazine—Bend, Ore., Jan. 20, 2026—Snowvana logo 440x340Snowvana will make its East Coast debut when the consumer ski and snowboard expo comes to the Royal Plaza Trade Center in Marlborough, Mass., just outside Boston, Nov. 6-8, 2026. The show will be held in four locations this year including Seattle (Oct. 16-18), Portland, Ore. (Oct. 23-25), and Wisconsin (Nov. 13-15).

Founded in 2016, Snowvana welcomes skiers and riders to explore offerings from various regional ski resorts, a gear sale and ski swap, live music, contests, speakers, the iF3 Film Festival, and interactive displays.

"Snowvana's mission is to provide a fun place for skiers and snowboarders to celebrate the coming season, find affordable gear and lift tickets, and engage in ‘Alpine AI: Authentic Interaction,’ with the people who keep the stoke alive at our mountains and ski shops across the U.S.," said Snowvana founder Doug Fish.

Wachusett Mountain, Mass., has already signed on to host the Learn-to-Ski Ramp at the New England show. "We are excited to support this exciting new event where we can showcase our award-winning ski and ride school," said Wachusett co-owner Carolyn Stimpson.

The Boston market was going to be without a pre-season ski and snowboard expo for the first time in decades following Racoon Media Group’s decision to move its Snowbound show (formerly the Boston Ski and Snowboard Expo) to Mohegan Sun in Connecticut for 2026. Snowbound will debut in its new location Nov. 14-15. The addition of Snowvana to the greater Boston area gives ski areas a couple options to engage with Northeastern consumers ahead of the winter season.
