SAM Magazine—Wilmington, N.Y., July 22, 2025—Whiteface Mountain will join the Mountain Collective pass for the 2025-26 season, expanding the multi-resort pass’s Northeast footprint. The announcement marks the latest addition to the Mountain Collective’s lineup, which now includes 27 ski areas across five continents.
Passholders receive two days at each participating resort and 50 percent off additional lift tickets, with no blackout dates. Whiteface, operated by the New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA), is the first New York resort in the coalition. It boasts the greatest vertical drop in the East.
“Mountain Collective is proud to welcome Whiteface Mountain to our global family of resorts,” said CEO Todd Burnette. “Whiteface not only brings Olympic history and serious vertical to the table, but it also strengthens our presence in the Northeast and increases the value of the pass for skiers worldwide.”
The partnership also extends Mountain Collective benefits to ORDA’s SKI3 full season pass holders, who will receive 50 percent off lift tickets at all Mountain Collective resorts. The full season SKI3 pass provides unlimited access to Whiteface, Gore and Belleayre Mountains.
“We are excited to be included in the Mountain Collective Pass, which will bring new visitors to Whiteface Mountain through this global community of skiers and riders,” said ORDA VP of sales and marketing Tait Wardlaw. “At the same time, the Mountain Collective partnership gives our SKI3 passholders an incredible opportunity to travel the continent and the world in pursuit of more unforgettable skiing and snowboarding experiences at any of their destinations around the world.”
In the last two seasons, Mountain Collective has added Sunday River, Maine; Bromont, Quebec; and Megève, France, while Arapahoe Basin, Colo., exited the roster. Other participating resorts include Sugarloaf, Maine; Alta, Utah; Sun Valley, Idaho; Revelstoke, British Columbia; and Niseko United, Japan.
The 2025-26 Mountain Collective pass is currently priced at $669.
