Chris Adams is in his third season leading Mountain Experience at Boyne Mountain Resort, where he focuses on developing people, refining operations, and elevating both the guest and employee experience. His path to leadership has been anything but conventional—after eight years in the British military, he moved from Luton, England, to the United States and found his calling in mountain operations. In just five years, Chris advanced from the resort’s security team to Safety Director and then to his current executive role. He credits his success to mentorship, continuous learning, and Boyne’s collaborative culture, where curiosity and accountability drive excellence.

Beck Badger
Lead Marketing Coordinator, Gunstock Mountain Resort, N.H.
Beck Badger grew up in New Hampshire in a family of lifelong skiers and industry professionals, where his connection to mountain life began early. He started his career as a coach with the Gunstock Ski Club, helping young athletes build skill and confidence on the hill. In 2022, Beck joined Gunstock’s marketing department as a photographer and quickly rose to his current role as Lead Marketing Coordinator. His creative perspective and deep love of ski culture guide his work, which celebrates skiing and snowboarding as a shared community and way of life.

Drew Brewer
Director of Mountain Experience, Alyeska Resort, Alaska
Drew Brewer joined Alyeska Resort in 2022 and currently oversees ticketing, rentals, and the mountain host program in winter, as well as guides and summer ticket operations during the off-season. He began his ski industry career as a ski instructor at Montana Snowbowl before advancing into management. Drew’s rapid growth reflects his steady work ethic, enthusiasm for mountain recreation, and commitment to creating positive experiences for both guests and employees.

Sam Burns
Snowmaking Supervisor, Arizona Snowbowl, Ariz.
Originally from New Jersey, Sam Burns discovered his passion for the ski industry after several years in the restaurant business. He began in lift operations at Kirkwood Mountain Resort, Calif., before moving into snowmaking, where he found his long-term fit. Sam earned an AAS in Ski Area Operations from Colorado Mountain College and completed a co-op at Big Sky Resort, Mont., before joining Arizona Snowbowl as Snowmaking Supervisor. He leads his team in snow production, training, and operational development, and continues to grow as a leader through mentorship and hands-on learning.

Julie Bush grew up skiing in the Laurel Highlands at Seven Springs, Laurel Mountain, and Hidden Valley Resorts, following in her father’s footsteps and developing a lifelong love for the sport. While earning her bachelor’s degree in public relations, she discovered her place in the ski industry after applying for a marketing assistant position at Wisp Resort—a role that launched her career. Today, as Marketing Specialist, Julie focuses on audience communication, data-driven marketing, campaign development, and event coordination. She is completing her master’s in integrated marketing communications while raising her daughter, Eloise, a future snowsports enthusiast.

Teagan Knudson oversees both guest services and ski patrol at Snowriver Mountain Resort, bringing a balance of hospitality experience and operational insight to her leadership. Known for her calm and collaborative approach, she fosters teamwork across departments to ensure safe and consistent guest experiences. Teagan focuses on communication, mentorship, and cultivating a workplace culture that supports growth, inclusion, and connection among staff and guests alike.

Ryan Leclerc
Location Manager, Adult & Private Lesson Programs, Beaver Creek, Colo.
A New Hampshire native, Ryan Leclerc began his ski-industry career in 2003 as a junior instructor at Gunstock Mountain Resort and went on to earn a degree in Recreation Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire. After moving west, he joined Beaver Creek, where he advanced through multiple leadership roles and now manages the Adult and Private Lesson Programs. A PSIA-AASI Alpine Level III instructor, Ryan combines strong technical expertise with a passion for coaching and guest experience, helping others build confidence and joy on the mountain.

With more than 17 years of experience in hospitality and food service, Rebecca Repp leads the food and beverage department at Brundage Mountain Resort. Her career spans resort operations, higher-education dining, and private-sector culinary management. Known for her steady leadership and commitment to staff development, Rebecca helps deliver dining experiences that elevate the overall resort visit. Outside of work, she’s an avid distance runner who finds inspiration on the trails with her dog, Dixie.

At Arapahoe Basin, she plays a key part in shaping the resort’s external messaging and internal culture, contributing to major initiatives including the transition to Alterra ownership, expanded Ikon Pass access, and a new Master Development Plan. She also co-chairs the resort’s Belonging Committee, helping advance inclusivity, engagement, and community connection.
