MOONBIKES

MoonBike is a new ultra-light, battery-powered electric snow vehicle. A patented wheel-hub motor drives a 10-inch-wide rear track, and a single ski on the front is used to steer. With a top speed of 26 mph, MoonBike can travel in snow depths up to 12 inches and climb up to a 40 percent grade. The vehicle has a range of up to three hours with the dual-battery option. The battery takes three hours to charge  with the optional fast charger, and less than six hours to charge with the standard charger. The vehicle also features a heated battery box that offers cold resistance to -13° F. MoonBike is totally silent, according to the company. Fecon has released a new hydraulic Bull Hog mulcher for standard flow skid steers. The mulcher is designed to clear brush, trees, and stumps to ground level, and will mulch trees up to five inches in diameter. The mulcher features a 60-inch working width with a variable displacement 45cc hydraulic motor that produces up to 75 horsepower, and a speed of 2400 rpm. The design also allows for a bolt-on push bar with serrated ears for directing material. Revl has adapted its automated video recording and editing technology specifically for zip line tours. It utilizes Revl’s AI model in combination with RFID and Bluetooth technology to create a personal highlight reel of the guests’ experience, which they can purchase on site. SWITCHBACK

Switchback, the ride system from Ziptrek Technologies and Holmes Solutions that allows riders to transition between rails and cables at speed, has expanded its offering to include powered trolleys. Switchback rides can be mostly cable, mostly rail, or any combination of the two. They can turn corners, traverse ski slopes, drop into helixes, and fly through the trees, all in one ride if desired. The new powered system allows riders to travel uphill as well. Switchback’s original gravity-based technology and new powered system both support continuous travel and automatic braking.
