SAM Magazine—Lebanon, N.H., July 31, 2026—Snocountry HN HeadshotSean MalagutiSean Malaguti has been promoted to serve as president of SnoCountry Ski Areas Association as part of a reorganization at the national snow conditions and ski area promotional outlet. He succeeds Mike Colbourn, who served as president since 2017 and has transitioned to chairman of the SnoCountry board of directors. In another change in the reorganization, longtime staff member Andy Davis was promoted to director of operations.

“I’m honored to be chosen by Mike to succeed him as president, and I’m grateful for the support of our Board,” said Malaguti. “But SnoCountry’s strength has always been our entire team. We understand the ski industry and take genuine pride in serving our resort partners and supporting the industry as a trusted partner.”

In his new role, Malaguti noted that his focus moving forward will be to build on SnoCountry’s legacy, support the staff, and continue evolving the organization.

Malaguti joined SnoCountry in 2006. He’s served as data manager and most recently as business manager.

Davis has been with SnoCountry since 1996, starting as media partnerships and radio program director. He’s held several roles in the organization before his recent promotion to director of operations.

Colbourn will continue to oversee the company’s business operations as the newly elected board chair. He was a longtime marketing executive for Stowe Mountain Resort, Vt., prior to joining SnoCountry as president nine years ago.
