Snowmaking Supervisor

$27- 32/ hr, DOE, Plus moving expenses TBD
Ski Santa Fe is looking for an experienced Snowmaking Supervisor to join our Mountain Operations team, with anticipation of becoming the Assistant Snowmaking Manager in 2-3 years.
This is a hands-on leadership position working alongside the Snowmaking Manager and Assistant Manager. You'll help lead daily snowmaking operations teams, keep the system running efficiently, and make decisions in the field.
As Snowmaking Supervisor, you'll help oversee snowmaking operations from system startups through shutdown. Your days and nights will vary depending on weather and mountain conditions.
About you
We're looking for someone who understands snowmaking and can confidently step into a leadership role. Ideally, you bring:
• Professional snowmaking experience
• Previous supervisory or crew-lead experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with high-pressure water and compressed-air systems
• A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• A valid driver's license
• The flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts when conditions are right
• Experience with Demaclenko, HKD, SMI, or similar snowmaking equipment is a plus.
• Automated snowmaking systems and controls
• Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, or mechanical systems
• Heavy equipment or snowcats
•Snowmaking system installation, maintenance, or design
