SAM Magazine—St. Moritz, Switzerland, April 4, 2024—Alterra Mountain Company will add St. Moritz to the Ikon Pass for the 2024-25 ski season. The Engadin Valley community—a two-time Olympic host, five-time home of the FIS Ski World Championships, and the birthplace of winter tourism in the Swiss Alps—is the sixth European destination on the Ikon Pass.IKONST MORITZ

St. Moritz includes nine ski areas: the famous Corviglia, Corvatsch, and Diavolezza, as well as the smaller Pontresina/Languard, Zuoz, Samedan, La Punt, Maloja, and S-chanf resorts. It joins Zermatt as the second Swiss ski resort on the Ikon Pass.

Ikon Pass holders will get seven days of combined access to St. Moritz’s ski areas with no blackout dates. Ikon Base Plus Pass and Ikon Base Pass holders will have five days of combined access with no blackout dates. However, Ikon Session Pass holders will not be able to use their passes in St. Moritz.

The Ikon Pass is now good at 59 destinations in 11 countries on five continents. The other European Ikon resorts are Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley in France, Dolomiti Superski in Italy, Grandvalira Resorts Andorra in Andorra, and Kitzbühel in Austria.
