SAM Magazine - Broomfield, Co., June 13, 2007 - Lucy Kay has been named chief operating officer of Breckenridge Resort. Kay, formerly the vice president of marketing for Keystone and Breckenridge, will assume the reigns of COO immediately. Kay is a familiar face around Summit County, where she's been involved in the ski industry for the past twenty-five years. Her accomplishments include developing innovative marketing programs for Breckenridge from 2005 to 2007 and spearheading the repositioning of Keystone as a brand, a project that resulted in an increase of skier visits to that resort by 13 percent.

"Lucy has played a major role in the success of Breckenridge and Keystone, establishing both resorts as industry leaders in resort rankings, visitation, profitability and reputation," said Rob Katz, chief executive officer of Vail Resorts.
